A fun couple weeks

Mom & Dad say that every day my personality is showing and I'm looking and acting more and more like a "kid" and less like a "baby". Here are a few pics from the last couple weeks that show it off.

Climbing in a box of Daddy's new guitar gear.

Maybe next time Dad should put whipped cream in the bowl for me! :)

Dad is convinced it would be good for me to learn golf from an early age.

I'm more interested in ladder golf - which, quite frankly, is much easier if you just hang the balls on the rungs instead of trying to throw them from 20 feet away.

Yet, of course, Dad doesn't give up. He thinks I look good in Callaway gear.

We had a few play-in-the-water days at school the last couple weeks. I LOVE splashing around in the water.
My friend Elijah and I playing together on the water table.

Camping day at school - we made kid-friendly trail mix, played in tents, and read stories by flashlight. One of the moms even made us all bandanas with our names on them. :)

Hello! I love playing in tents! :)

Miscellaneous Pics

Here are a few random pics from the last week...

Playing with the Tickle Me Elmo Mom & Dad got me at a garage sale.
(I thought it was fun to sit in the laundry basket.) :)

Um, excuse me?

Excited to get my very own balloon animal at Dessa's 2nd birthday party.

Playing outside in my beautiful dress.

Using a Spoon and Fork

Rayna loves to use a spoon and fork for meal times now and she seems to be getting the hang of it. Also, she started saying "Amen" at the end of our meal time prayer too. :o)

A week of fun with Mom & Dad

My mom and dad were off work this past week, and so we went on many fun adventures...from swimming, to biking, to hiking, to playground, ice cream, and many things in between. We had a wonderful time together!

Happy 4th of July!
I helped mom and dad water the new plants we planted.
I love sticking my hands in the water!
This is the bike trailer that I get to
ride in when we go for bike rides.
We went to Naperville and walked on the River Walk one day.
Even though it was a little cool, we had a fun time.
On the playground in Naperville.
We made a stop at Barnes & Noble too.
I had fun sitting there while mom and dad read me some books.

We visited a newer park in Sycamore.
Melissa, Ben and Elwood came with us.
Today we went and explored a
forest preserve in Hampshire. We didn't stay too long though
because the mosquitos were nasty! I had fun riding in my backpack ride. :o)

Am I cute or what?!?

Update - finally!

It's been awhile since our last post. Rayna is becoming a bit more chatty as the days go by. Some of her newest words are "bye bye", "more", "night night", "ball"

This week we're off work and spending time together as a family at home. When Rayna heads back to daycare on July 13th, she'll be moving from the infant room up to the toddler room. It's hard to believe she's already a toddler!

This week held another new adventure in that the pacifiers all "disappeared". ;-) Rayna is adjusting to life without them and is doing pretty well.

Here are a few pics from the last several weeks~

So hungry I could eat a toe!

Kicking back with a cup of milk, patting my friend Joey on the head.

My cousin Dessa pushing me around in her car.

I was helping mom put away groceries, but got distracted by this tall bottle. They say I'm not allowed to have any of that kind of juice.

I LOVE Elmo and puppies. I call them "woof woof"s. :)

Fun couple weeks

Mom & Dad say that over the last couple weeks I'm really starting to seem more like a 'kid' than a 'baby'. I'm walking all over the place and picking up more words. My two new words are "hi" and "Elmo". Here are a few pictures from the last couple weeks...

My crazy hair after bathtime.
Culver's has a great grilled cheese sandwich!
And in case you're wondering, "I'm as cute as a ButterBurger is delicious!"
My first major league baseball game.
That game wore me out!Road trips wear me out!
Out with daddy for a walk by the pond.
Mommy & I went for a walk by the pond, too.
This is my new backpack carrier - which I find to be loads of fun!
