Fun times!
Mommy and Daddy are having so much fun with me in this stage right now. I'm discovering new things and very into all of my toys. I interact with Mom and Dad so much with smiling, giggling, and chattering. I'm rolling and scooting everywhere. :o)
I was playing with my toys on my blanket

Halloween & Swim Lessons
My first halloween ever! Aren't I the cutest little pea you ever did see? :)

Mommy, Aunt Theresa, Cousin Dessa the Lobster, & me the Pea.

You see, this is a mixer full of cupcake batter. I find it horribly unfair that my dad made me help him make the cupcakes, but didn't let me taste the batter.
Mom & dad say I was the cutest thing ever!
Their dog Elwood is my friend - we were having a great time together!
Today was my first day of swimming lessons. The teacher said that I did great - no crying or fussing at all! Dad says I'm part fish. :)
First time in the pool!
Mommy taking me around teaching me to kick.
At the end of class we got to play with the balls in the water.
I find it more fun to eat them than to play with them. :)

Day with Daddy
Today I had my 6-month checkup at the doc's office. That went well except for the fact I had to get 3 shots. Daddy felt bad for me so he spent the day with me. We had a fun time going for a walk and to the park.
Us swinging together.
Before going down the slide.
Don't freak out. This is staged.
You don't think he'd really send me down the slide by myself, do you?
We went down together, though. :)
And finally...proof that I really enjoy swinging:

Dedication and Pumpkin Parade
We had a wonderful weekend -- the extension of a great family tradition with Pumpkin Fest weekend in Sycamore and the celebration of dedicating Rayna to the Lord at church on Saturday night. What an honor it was for us to make a promise in front of family, friends, and our entire church family to raise Rayna according to God's Word and to be an example to her of Godly character. It was a special time for all of us.

The beautiful princess all dressed up for church!
