Rice cereal seems to be doing the trick...

So, it's been a week since my mom and dad started adding rice cereal to my formula to help with the acid reflux. It seems to be working because I feel much better, am spitting up less, and am generally much happier!

This week I've been chattering more and I'm even making little zerbert noises. :o)

I got to see my Grandma Jean over the weekend. We had fun together. She even got to watch me on Monday while my mom and dad went to work.

Fast asleep after playing hard with Ms. Melissa.

I'm fascinated with seeing myself in mirrors!

Playing with my rubber ducky in the tub.

I'm really good at fitting my fists in my mouth.

We've had some really nice weather this week. Mom & Dad decided to take me for a walk in the stroller like a big girl (sitting in the stroller rather than the car seat). It was fun to look around at everything.

More fun on my tummy. :o)

This week's update

Today was a big day for us - Rayna started with rice cereal in her bottle. She's been acting irritable lately so we had a visit with the pediatrician who thinks she's got acid reflux acting up. So, we're trying the cereal addition into her bottle to thicken it up - hopefully that cuts down on the reflux. Here are some pics from this week's fun...

I was having fun rolling over with mommy today - I wouldn't stay on my tummy at all!

Finally the stupid reflux stopped that I could cozy up and get some sleep.

Grama P and me at the Cruise Night in Sycamore. Mom & Dad walked me all around a bunch of classic cars and said I couldn't have one.

Most times I LOVE bathtime. I'm smiling at mommy and holding on to my washcloth.

Grama let me try a lick of her sucker while Auntie Janet was holding me.

My cousin Dessa and me in the back of her daddy's truck. It was her 1st birthday. Mom & Dad said I can't have a truck either...I'm too little.

Even though I look scared out of my mind, I really do like riding on Daddy's shoulders.

This Past Week's Adventures

This has been another good week. Rayna is starting to fall into even more of a routine, which is certainly refreshing. Here's a bit of this week from her perspective...

My mom and dad went to my mom's 10 year high school class reunion. I got to spend the night at my Grama Penny's.

I'm starting to hold my own bottle a little bit! I only do it for a brief time -- but it's a start. :o)

All snuggly in my ducky towel after bath.

Mom took me to the Concert in the Park at the Sycamore Park. I snuggled with my mom and slept most of the time.

Sound asleep ... snuggling with my burp rag. Silly me!

3 Months Old Today

It's hard to believe that our little peanut is 3 months old today!

It's been a week of milestones: I (Robyn) went back to work on Monday, Rayna slept through the night, and she rolled over from her tummy to her back. :o)

Some great friends of ours, Ben & Melissa, watched Rayna this week. You can see some pictures of the fun they've had together below.

Rayna is smiling a lot more, talking a lot more, really grabbing on to things and holding tight, sitting up (but still with support).

She brings so much joy to our lives!

Rayna with her cousins Eli (10 mths) and Dessa (1 yr next weekend). (It was rather funny trying to get this picture taken. :o))

Rayna at Ben & Melissa's. Elwood has a new friend. :o)

So cute!

Making smiley faces at her daddy.

Ben decided to teach Rayna poker yesterday. She's smiling because she won!

3 months old!

Week 12

Here are a handful of pictures from this week's fun! It was a good week...I (Kevin) took a few days off to spend time at home with "the girls" before Robyn has to head back to work on Monday.

Rayna is learning to sit up in her seat - it took her a couple days to realize that the thing in front of her is a toy. :o)

She's got the thumb-sucking figured out, but her tiny thumb isn't enough to satisfy...so she tries to put her whole hand in her mouth.

On Friday we walked to downtown Sycamore. This is Rayna on her first trip downtown.

On our downtown adventure we stopped for breakfast at the bakery.

...and then ended our journey at the library. Rayna's first trip there, too!

Apparently she doesn't like getting her picture taken while she's naked. We're okay with that. ;-)

11 Weeks

Happy 4th of July! I had some time to post a few pictures before we start grilling. I hope you all enjoy your holiday.

Exploring new bright toys and holding on to her phone rattle.

"Mom and Dad made me go to a bazillion stores with them. I slept most of the time."
